Starting in January 2007 all members will be up for renewal.

The annual fees for new & renewing members will be $125.00. Members will receive a long sleeve club shirt, club stickers, access to our web-site with the latest Swordfish reports and a lot of great fish stories

We will be having at least 6 meetings for 2007. January, March, May, July, September, and November. There will be a club tournament in October with a cookout the next day. There will also be other tournaments scheduled at the last minute due to weather and fishing conditions.

The SOUTHEAST SWORDFISH CLUB was a force in keeping the Florida straits closed to commercial l two years ago. We have been working again this year to keep the Florida Straits closed to commercial longliners. We need your support.

The SSC is the official swordfishing club for the Southeastern portion of the United States. Our club has over 100 members in the tri-county and we're still growing!!

The Southeast Swordfish Club was formed in February of 2003 to help educate, promote, and share knowledge of the most elusive and respected Billfish in the world. It is in the best interest of those who pursue the catch and/or release of Swordfish to place emphasis on conservation and show sportsmanship to our fellow fisherman. With the cooperation of all club members, our shared passion will establish the importance of this species to our local and national fisheries for now and years to come. Reporting our catches and non-catches through the club is one way we help to obtain better statistics to where we stand in the recreational swordfishing community.

The bottom line is, once you have joined the club, you will enjoy your club experience, not only by participating in fun and unique activities for swordfish enthusiasts only, but by meeting some of our community's most successful fishermen, who happen to be some of the nicest people that share one thing in common- the love for Swordfish. As a club member once said, "You get into the Southeast Swordfish Club for the love of the fish, and what you get out of it are great friendships."
